An accomplished surgeon practicing in several reputed hospitals in Coimbatore and Chennai, he is rooted in Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai, where is serving as Head of the Department of Cardiology. Beyond his medical expertise, Dr. Periyasamy is deeply involved in social causes, contributing both financially and through moral support.

He has also established a dedicated foundation to support students’ education and actively promotes the advancement of academic quality at the institution by introducing innovative and progressive learning modules for student development.
